Airlines That Fly To Belize

With non-stop flights from most major cities in North America, it’s now easier and more affordable than ever to enjoy a vacation in Belize.

To help you prepare for your Belize vacation, below is a brief run-down of the available flights from the United States and Canada. All international flights land at the Philip Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City.

American Airlines

American has non-stop service from Los Angeles (LAX), Miami, Charlotte, NC, Miami, and Dallas-Ft. Worth. Flying times from Miami are two hours, three hours from Dallas, 3.5 hours from Charlotte, and five hours from Los Angeles.

Avianca

Avianca has non-stop flights from San Salvador (El Salvador), a 60-minute journey.

COPA

Copa operates a non-stop flight from Panama City that lasts 2.5 hours.

Delta

Delta has non-stop service from Los Angeles and Atlanta. From Atlanta to Belize, expect a flying time of about three hours and five hours from Los Angeles.

Southwest

Southwest has a two-hour non-stop flight from Houston (Hobby) and will add a non-stop flight from Denver in March 2017 with a flying time of about four hours.

United Airlines

United has non-stop service to Belize from Houston (IAH), Newark, NJ, and Chicago (O’Hare). Flying time from Newark is about 6 hours, from Chicago 4 hours, and two hours from Houston.

WestJet Airlines

Direct flight from Canada and offer flights from November to May each year

Tropic Air

Tropic Air is predominately a domestic air carrier in Belize, but the airline also has short-hop international service between Belize City and the island of Roatan (Honduras), Merida (Mexico), Cancun (Mexico), San Pedro Sula (Guatemala), and Flores (Guatemala). Flights to Honduras and Guatemala take approximately one hour while the destinations in Mexico have a duration of about 90 minutes.

As of 2022 Tropic Air now has flights from Belize to Cancun.
