ABOUT CAVE TUBING
The caves are a place that the Mayan people used to transport goods. Over time many Mayan artifacts and human bones have been found in the caves, which were considered sacred places
You are going to an inner tube and then float in and out of the caves while learning about the spectacular rock formation the throughout each cave.
It’s a very easy tour and anyone can do it, the water is usually low so you don’t have to be a good swimmer.
The guides are super helpful and will help you gear up to get started floating. You will turn on your head lamp as you start to drift the caves that are approx.15-20ft high and about 20ft wide.
